The company provides LIMS (laboratory information management suite) and related products and services to labs serving customers in the chemical, consumer products, food and beverage, genomics, health care research and development, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals. Its core SAPPHIRE software is used for tasks such as laboratory testing, managing biorepositories, quality management, and analytical service labs. Clients have included ConAgra Foods and Indiana University. The company is owned by Purnandu Chatterjee of Chatterjee Management Group, an international investment firm.
