    It's amazing to see the impact of our work supporting people living with multiple sclerosis and their families. We have a collaborative and supportive work environment. The benefits are good and the Society stresses the importance of having a work/life balance. The Society also encourages employee professional development and offers opportunity for training and advancement.

    What a cluster! The left and right hand don’t talk and don’t know what each other is doing. Lots of blame when you have no responsibility. You get shot down when you raise questions. When you question structure they question your loyalty. Hummmm.

    Desventajas

    You can tell senior leadership has good intentions with many of their initiatives, but sometimes it seems there isn't follow through putting certain things into practice. Also, while there are many resources and a culture that encourages growth (mentioned in pros), sometimes I think senior leaders could do more to mentor and share insight and experiences with current staff.

    Think about how to measure the impact of some of the initiatives put forth and how you will keep staff accountable accross the organization. And think about the value of including different staff in trainings, retreats, conferences, etc.

    The company is dedicated to it's mission of helping people living with MS, does great things for constituents. Great benefits package and PTO. Events are fun to attend.

    Try to care even half as much about your employees as you do the constituents. The answer is NOT 10 more virtual meetings a month or another employment engagement survey. Have clear avenues for expressing concern, or frustrations. Value all of your employees, including non-development and non-upper management.
