Interview Process starts with initial video call with recruiter to understand about company and to know about yourself. Then the technical interview is 2 part process. Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and set up an initial screening call. Had a 2 hour (ended up taking 1.5 hours) Android specific technical interview scheduled 2 weeks later. The interview was reasonable and the I completed it in ~1 hour so had a lot of time to ask the team questions. The interviewers were nice and asked good questions. I didn't hear anything after a week so I followed up with the recruiter and got the response that the team thought I wasn't good enough for senior, but my salary expectations don't line up with intermediate. This was super confusing because the salary range I provided in the recruiter chat did in fact line up with the intermediate range the recruiter shared with me. Not sure what went wrong, but I wish I received some real feedback and not a fake reason for being rejected.
