The process is ok. It's one of those where you have to pass the current interview to get to the next one so it takes at least a month if you get through all of it. My biggest pro is to the recruiter who was very responsive and would get back to me day of or day after the interviews. The technical round was too IC focused for an engineering manager. They even tell you they don't expect you to do coding on the job - so why spend an hour doing some weird coding kata that people are only good at right after college? The system design question was fine. My biggest piece of feedback to the team is to train your interviewers or include other eng leaders in the interview with the ICs. The technical round had 2 parts with 4 different software engineers. The 4 engineers have a lot to work on to become effective interviewers. They would give 0 guidance up front. It was basically "here are a few lines of the problem... go!" During the interview they wouldn't acknowledge or nudge or barely ask questions. I kept having to ask them if they had any questions of observations to get any kind of indication of how I was doing.

The interview process was very straightfoward, 4 rounds total and received response the same day after the last round. Very smooth salary negotiation - my recruiter got me a number higher than my expectation!
