Entrevista
Straightforward recruiter screen for role match and interest. Was followed up within a week by an interview with a hiring manager where we went deeper into the role and what needed to happen, reviewed my experience and suitability. The next interview was a tech leadership/strategy interview, asking how I'd lead change, what engineers need, etc. This was where I got. The interview process was very well communicated and professional.

How do you make change happen in a large organization?
I thought the first interview went well. The person I talked wit was nice and easy to talk to. The feedback I have is that if you want a S.T.A.R.s answer, ask the question in a S.T.A.R.s way. Example of instead of "What metrics do you use to judge team performance?" "Tell me about the last time you had to judge team performance, what metrics did you use ?"

- Got interview after getting resume submitted by an employee referral
- Phone screen with hiring exec asked std experience questions
- Follow up phone screen by an architect in the group went well but then went south after asking algorithm questions that I did not answer optimally. I had not prepared for such questions, as graduated over 25 years ago in EE instead of CS.
