Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Workday (Chicago, IL)
Entrevista
Had several interviews with a Recruiter and several Interviews with a Manager. Recruiter told me I would have to prepare a powerpoint presentation and gave me several topics to choose from. I had to cover three of the topics. Most of the topics involved somewhat advanced Excel skills (creating pivot tables, ect...). Not very complicated. I went to the Chicago office (they didn't pay for any transportation costs...parking...) and met separately with 4 employees in person and two on the phone. Then I made my presentation to a group and gave a demo to prove I knew the advanced exel functionality. I even created handouts for the participants and felt the presentation went well.

Nothing very difficult. I just spent quite a lot of time creating the presentation material and content.

Initial recruiter phone screen took place a few days after submitting application. 1st red flag; I was immediately down-leveled into a non-senior role during the initial conversation despite having 10 years of experience. Ignoring my reservations, I proceeded with the next round. 2nd red flag; the HM was 15 minutes late to the interview because someone fell down outside their house. Their tone was very drab and clearly had not read my resume to confirm my leadership experience. Fast forward and 3 weeks pass with no update. I could not wait on their decision and accepted another employer's offer.
I applied for the position on Linkedin. Was contacted by recruiter for phone screen. After phone screen, a phone call was set up with hiring manager 1 week later. Then was asked to come to local office for interviews with 4 people. Behavioral interview. Not one technical question asked by any of the interviewers. This was totally the opposite from what the recruiter asked me to prepare for. After the interview, I was told by recruiter that the team makes decisions very quickly and I should hear within 2-3 days. In fact, the recruiter said in email she would be "talking to me soon". Then dead silence. I followed up (2 weeks) due to holiday, and then noticed my status changed to "closed", after it was "under consideration" for weeks.
Did not receive a rejection letter. But, having worked in the HR field for many years, the process they used was poor.

The first step was a recruiter phone screen. Then there was a phone interview with the hiring manager. Next came an on-site interview day with about 5 interviewers. This included the hiring manager, the director for the group, and other consultants on the team. There was a good mix of questions that covered consulting concepts as well as technical concepts. There were no formal tests or exams.
The process was smooth and moved fast. The recruiter was extremely helpful throughout the process. It was the smoothest interview process that I've gone through in my career.
