      Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en WalkMe (Tel Aviv) en jul 2016

      Entrevista

      Outstanding example of wasted time and discrimination. A pattern of same questions but different people. I went through several stages: 1 - Meeting with the HR manager at a fair who I gave my CV; It was a lovely discussion; 2 - I made a follow-up, 2 days later, by mail; 3 - Got a call from HR (interview over phone) and scheduled a following face 2 face one; 4 - Meeting the HR face 2 face; 5 - waiting few days for an answer (I passed the interview and I was scheduled for another one face 2 face with 2 TLs (Team Leaders) in order to present my .ppt); 6 - had the interview with one TL because the other one was busy (I was asked to present the .ppt and was asked pretty much the same questions as the HR person); 7 - waiting a week for an answer; 8 - receiving a call from HR and I was told that I will go through for the next interview, in one week time; 9 - had my next interview with a senior manager from Los Angeles (via online meeting - video/call). The same questions from him; 10 - waiting a week for feedback; 11 - receiving response that I will have to sustain another on-line interview with the TL from Tel Aviv. The one that could not attend the previous meeting (#6)!!! There was no point to it. - schedule in one week time; 12 - I had the interview with the TL (a lady). She was working from home. There was no chemistry whatsoever. Poker-faced and terribly uninterested on me. I was asked the same questions as before. Almost exactly with one exception: my personal relation. Apparently this was a key question because... 13 - I have waited for another week more (after the lat interview) and didn't received any response. I had to call myself and ask for news. The HR apologized to me and told me that they just "had a change of direction with this role and the candidate profile". This happened after 1 month and a half of discussions, time spent on commuting, arranging my schedule to fit their needs, even if they were late at the interview discussion or, couldn't attend. I understand that business is business, but if I were late or had to change my interview dates, that wouldn't look good for me as a candidate. I am disappointed because, behind their fresh appearance, they are a very bureaucratic, apparently homophobic and a xenophobic (in particular key decision makers from Israel, they wanted to understand if I am Jewish or not, even if I was in my full unrestricted legal rights to work in Israel), lacking decision making ownership and having poor communication. The only person who seemed a little more assertive and professional was the HR, but unfortunately she "forgot" to call me to give me the news that I they will not proceed with my candidacy. She did apologized 4 times in the same discussion. After all these steps, I have the impression that it was a waste of time and money. I think their product is great, the company looks fresh, but the people (at least in Tel Aviv) are poor example to promote the image they want to project. The interview was scholastic, boring and time-consuming. After few days, the role was again available on the market.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

      1. What do you know about WalkMe?; 2. Make a presentation (.ppt) to showcase our product value to a customer who already committed. 3. Explain about WalkMe process and product, once you had some insights on it (they will make you an on-line account); 4. Questions about own professional experience (be brief, because they will stop you); 5. Be creative and resourceful because they will ask you examples on how you can add value with the WalkMe product: i.e. how can a customer (Bank, Company etc.) will increase it's conversion rate through WalkMe? How WalkMe can add value? 6. About personal life; 7. Other standard questions 8. Will ask about your salary expectation in the first meeting with HR (face 2 face), but I encourage you to make a internet research. Apparently there is no difference between US cities and TLV in relation with Customer Success Manager;
