Entrevista
I attempted to submit my application online but due to some technical troubles it did not submit. So I instead went the proactive route and mailed my cover letter and resume to both Vanguard's Malvern, PA and Scottsdale, AZ location. I was contacted about 2 weeks later via email from a Malvern recruiter who said they were going to forward my resume to Scottsdale, AZ. I was then contacted via phone by the Scottsdale recruiter. I had a 45 minute phone interview with him and then he asked when I could come on site to interview in person. I said that I still had a few days left until I graduated from college in Minnesota, so he asked what day I would be in Arizona. The morning that I told him I would be in town, he called me at 8:00am to schedule an interview for 10 days later. It was 2 1-hour interviews on site in Scottsdale. They asked a lot of behavioral questions and then gave me a case study for 30 minutes to work on and then explain my answers. My interview was on a Thursday, and the following Monday(5 days later) they called me and made the job offer.

Had an interview with the recruiter and then a quiz, few days later I received an offer letter from my recruiter. Overall straight forward process as long as your experience and background matches with the position you're applying for.

After submitting my application (which included a situational assessment) I was contacted via email to schedule a phone interview. The initial phone screen lasted about 40 minutes and was very Behavioral based. At the end of the call, she invited me to the final interview. Final interview consisted of a group presentation going over the values and impact of Vanguard, something that is also covered on the initial phone screen. After the group video presentation, you break off to a 1-on-1 video interview with the respective branch's hiring manager. The 1-on-1 interview was similar to the initial phone screen, so be ready to answer in the STAR method. Vanguard is extremely client oriented, so be sure to stress your desire to help the average person achieve financial freedom and ability to build rapport with your clients (if that is true of course!). Additionally - if you are determined and goal oriented, be sure to mention that as the ability to learn new information is a valuable quality for this role.

Everyone involved made us feel very comfortable the whole interview process. Lasted about 2 hours. It was a group setting with individual interviews. Learned a lot about the company, not so much about the position itself. Tour of building included.
