      Entrevista

      It was a positive experience until the end. I made it through four interviews, not including the initial screening, over the course of about a month. Each conversation went great, everyone I met with was super kind and personable. There were a couple hiccups in the team interviews—a last minute schedule change wasn't communicated to me until hours after I waited in the OG meeting. The recruiter was very kind and honest about what happened and rescheduling us. I totally understand how that could happen on a busy day. Then the next interview, I learned the team was transitioning to new org-wide meeting software while my meetings were scheduled on the old software. So we dealt with a last minute change that resulted in me being stuck in a waiting room (i'm assuming what happened is the recruiter was the meeting host instead of the interviewer since the new link was created last minute). We still managed our interview efficiently the following day and the team was very apologetic about it. Again, I've been through tech transitions like that in previous orgs, I understand and wasn't upset. I followed up with each interviewer over LinkedIn to thank them for their time, as well as the recruiter to thank them for coordinating through everything. But communication just stopped. I waited about two weeks to follow up, no response. Then about a month later, I sent a final follow up just for feedback and/or closure, and still nothing. A simple "We've moved forward with another candidate" would suffice. Ghosting shouldn't be a norm for candidates that spend a month interviewing with you. As a fan of the brand and the opportunity, it was a disappointing end.
