I sent in an online application, and within ten minutes, a lady had called me and set up a phone interview for the next day. The guy I spoke to was the team leader for the area, and he wasn't a very good interviewer. He asked why I wanted to work at Target and I said usual stuff and then said how it would be a good first job, and he apparently ignored that. About five minutes later he asked about previous work experience so I had to tell him I had none, and he asked "Oh it's your first job?" ...Yeah kinda. Then he would get distracted with stuff. He told me he was scared by the ongoing thunderstorm, and then got off topic when I gave him a detailed response about working at the humane society. I didn't even get a call back or an email until three weeks later saying how they weren't hiring at the time.

Applied in the middle of March. Received a phone call a couple of weeks later (on April 4th) to set up a phone interview that was scheduled for the next day, April 5th. The call took about 20 minutes. The questions were simple: availability, short intro to previous work experience, and a few situational questions. I was offered a second interview (in-person this time) for the next day, April 6th. This time I was asked about what kind of hours I wanted, availability again, and a few more situational questions that were similar to the ones on the first interview. I just answered each question honestly and had no problems. I was offered the job on the spot.
