Entrevista
Submitted an application and went in to personally introduce myself with a manager a few days later. It was one of my first experiences with in-person follow ups and went awkwardly; the manager said they were backlogged didn't expect to be hiring for a while, and if they did they would want people with retail experience (which I did not formally have).
But two weeks later I was called in and asked to interview at noon the following day. I had to arrive early to fill out a final part of the application that can only be completed at the store kiosk; it was conventional "in this situation, what is the best and worst thing you can do?" multiple choice scenarios that took about 15-20 minutes. I was then sent to the break room and within twenty minutes had been called in for the two interviews back-to-back, like all other people have said. The interviewers (no one I recognized from my previous visit) were polite but aloof and mainly read four-five questions from their clip boards. I knew what to expect from looking at other reviews and talking to an ex-manager, so I answered quickly and promptly, but I got tongue tied a few times. They mainly wanted to know about times I had helped people or displayed good customer service, and what other people would say about my qualities. Afterwards I was permitted to ask them a few questions, gave them my resume, and left. They did not ask for a drug test. About five days letter I got a rejection email.
I suspect I failed because I didn't have retail experience. The three managers I talked to seemed most interested in specific proof/validation of my sales experience, and since my main work experience was at the local library I didn't have much to give them. I was told that my interview was the start of their summer hiring season and I get the impression that they were just covering their bases in interviewing me, rather then expressing specific interest. The aloofness of the interviewers and the lack of a drug test were probably bad signs.

Name a time you showed prompt and effective customer service.
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.

This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

Tell us about a time when you had to interact with customers
It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
