Entrevista
Initial phone screen with a recruiter, 1:1 video interview with a person currently in the role, mock QBR presentation and product demo. Would have progressed to a panel video interview and 1:1 with an exec before an offer. I was told after the mock QBR that I wouldn't be moving forward and the company declined to provide any feedback beyond "we have a lot of qualified candidates for these positions."
I'd strongly encourage candidates to go into the process with the right expectations. The first two interviews were pretty basic and it seems like everyone that can speak in complete sentences makes it to the mock presentation. I was told appx 10% of the candidates that make it to the presentation round make it all the way through to getting an offer. Like others I was unable to get even a tiny bit of feedback from the company after investing 20-30+ hours in the interview process.
If putting that kind of time into a 10% shot at an offer seems worth it then go for it, but also understand that the most likely outcome is that your presentation goes well but you don't move on in the process and you get zero feedback or insight into their decision making from the company.

Show ROI, Project Plan for remainder of contract, present operating model, demo product
Insane amount of upfront work to prepare a ROBUST deck with ROI calculations and many, many rounds. You will only get passed to the next round if it’s a UNANIMOUS decision by the panel. So if 2/3 people like your presentation, you’re not advancing. Hello, personal bias. Great to met you!

A phone screen with a recruiter
30 min interview with CS peer
-Case study - intensive. Plan on 30 hours plus for -preparation including completing a platform demo. Presentations is challenging and panel does not stick to the case study scenario.
-Interviews with hiring mgr and leadership if you pass the case study

The phone screen and initial interview consist of standard interview questions
Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Tanium (Emeryville, CA) en may 2019

Phone interview with recruiter
Video interview with Customer Success Director
Video mock demo and exec business review case presentation
Phone interview with recruiter was professional but the Tanium representative sounded very inexperienced. The recruiter couldn’t really speak in detail to Tanium’s strengths, but suggested I read Glassdoor. Which is sometimes a sign the company has been engaging in an internally encouraged social media campaign to reverse prior bad publicity.
Second interview was a video discussion with somebody in the role today. Questions were a combo of client management and domain knowledge. Not particularly difficult. I asked questions about Tanium, but got very little info in return.
Notified by recruiter of progress to case interview. I was a bit suspicious that they might be using the case step to crowdsource ideas for their internal methods. It was too fast and with little effort on Tanium side to get to this stage. But I pushed forward nonetheless.
Case is a 10 minute demo and 40 minute presentation to a 3-person panel via video. Very big time sink to prepare. 20 to 40 hours depending on if you already know their product. I felt good about my effort but received no feedback from the panel. No additional info about the company from them either - why I should be excited about Tanium, culture, day-to-day, nothing at all, period. But of course, they had plenty of questions for me.
Recruiter eventually let me know my case performance was good, but they were passing on my candidacy for “other reasons”.
Why weren’t the “other reasons” screened for before I was asked to complete the case?
Are they crowdsourcing best practices at the expense of candidates’ time?
Glassdoor is a mix of 1-star and 5-star reviews. Always a bad sign.
Very unprofessional in overall approach in my opinion.
Tanium Interviewers and recruiters all seem inexperienced and green.
If they treat candidates this way, same probably goes for employees and customers.
