I did not even get a recruiter call, but rather an automated email from them with a link to schedule my take-home test. It felt very... odd, jumping me straight to a take-home without an initial behavioral call to see if both me and them were a fit. I ended up scheduling it and when the time came, it felt like they did not trust any candidates, where you were going to be recorded via webcam, microphone, and screen. Sure it could be due to them not wanting anybody using AI to help them, but that added so much more stress and anxiety (to me at least). It would have been nice to have that disclaimer as well. Reading through what was being asked seemed rather very difficult, although it is most likely what would be done on the job day-to-day. This is cool to see for sure, but I would have definitely liked them to give some resources for candidates to either learn or brush up on prior to the assessment, as I believe, they wanted candidates to look up documentation and learn about it, but again, the assessment is 90 minutes, which added on to the stress and anxiety. It just feels like a lazy interview to me where they did not care for you, but want you to care about them.

The process could be a bit more transparent. Cause it was supposed to be 3 steps, but I guess that the real deal is 5 steps. 1st First step is the screening (Very good interview) 2st First Technical interview, which is coding (Also very interesting) 3rd You speak with HR leaders and later you have another Second Technical part with an engineer (For me this step they could cover the second HR in the screening) 4th Which is the Third technical interview. It's a whiteboard with system design or can be a case study. (I guess that was the final technical interview, which was very good) If you're in the process, they are not transparent, you can expect everything from the technical interviews, so it's kinda hard to prepare. For an example in the 3rd interview I wasn't expecting, it was supposed to give feedback, so I got caught in the undertow. But I managed to pass. The last technical interview, they say that there is a live coding, which is like a BAR. Then you go to the technical interview. I managed to pass the bar, cause I did the case study and also the interviewer said that the bar was enough. Later I asked the Engineer and his answers were similar to mine. Two days after I received the rejection, they didn't provide any feedback, which I think that is bad for a person who went to the final interview after 2 technical interviews and invested 1 month already. I guess that my bar was not enough, and another person went better. (I'll never know) The whole evaluation of the process: If they provide feedback to the candidates who manage to go to the final interview then it would be positive. Process needs more transparency. (negative point) Positive side, people that I interviewed. Final technical the Engineer guided the interview very well. (positive point) Other: The process moves fast, if you're employed you'll be a bit overwhelmed. (neutral) Another point is that they say that they are language agnostic, but it's preferred for you to do in the language which the job was posted, my case was TS. For an example in the second round which was some code analysis I used Python and Java. My honest take, if you're studying for interviews and focusing on, it's pretty manageable to pass and I'm a very standard engineer. The people that I've meet was really good during the process and I liked them and how the company works.

The 1st round is online assessment. You book a 90 minutes time slot, and do AI-assisted coding without interviewer. During the assessment, you are given access to a Github project containing a fullstack NodeJS project for a social media platform, including web frontend, api server, unit test, functional test. And you should find issues in the project, and submit fixes. Any AI tools are allowed. You don't have time to look over the whole project, so you must use AI. It uses Protobuf and Playwright, so make sure your environment is prepared for that. Playwright is big in size, and Protobuf doesn't support all platforms.
