I believe I had applied for a position at SpaceX directly through their website, SpaceX.com, however was contacted months later regarding a slightly different position by a recruiting agency. I spoke with them regarding the position, and after submitting an updated resume, requested an in person interview and tour of the facility. I was interviewed by 2 senior technicians with whom I met after a 20 minute wait in the fascinatingly lobby, which gave me time to take in the awesome decor. I was taken to an interview room, aptly named after a pioneer explorer. I was interviewed by a male and female, both whom took turns asking questions regarding my career experience, exployment desires, and their expectations of the candidate in question. I felt extremely comfortable, and even excited about the prospect of working for the company, and confident in enjoying the work I'd be doing. It went well, and I was contacted by the staffing company to confirm my employment, which was to begin the following week.
