Got an email from a Riverbed recruiter, Communicated a date for a phone interview, on the day of the interview, recruiter sent me an email an hour before the interview and told me that the hiring manager had extended an offer to another candidate and that we can set-up another phone interview for other open positions. We agreed on a date and time for the phone interview.
the phone interview was good, recruiter asked related questions and was very helpful. Asked me to do a personality test.....
Did the personality test the following day and informed the recruiter by email that I have completed the test and asked what the next action plan will be. He replied that the hiring manager had extended an offer to another candidate (AGAIN!!!)
My advice to recruiters is to please communicate with the hiring manager's before you invite a candidates for a phone interview and waste our time.
