Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Ping Identity (Denver, CO) en ene 2019
Entrevista
HR called me within a day of my application. Recommended I consider more than one role and set me up with interviews. Within 10 days I had 4 phone interviews. I was invited to Denver for 4 more interviews and within 48 hours had an offer. I interacted with 10 people on interviews and setup, all were friendly and welcoming. It was clear they were all happy at Ping Identity and were given the opportunity to grow and be promoted within the organization. It was a refreshing and exciting experience to interview with a growing company with genuinely happy employees.

I was asked a number of questions with regard to collaboration and teamwork. My role will be remote as will many if not all my colleagues.

For context, there was zero information provided in advance of the interview. A former co-worker contacted me with this opportunity and stated Ping wished to talk with me. With no background information, I prepared based on every other related interview I've done over the past few years, none of which ended up being relevant.
The interview process 32 minutes in length (scheduled for 30, with approximately 2 minutes at the end for my question,) was with a single individual, who skipped around a few of the products with 1--2 questions about each, except for the products I was most deeply experienced with. He asked no questions about the resume itself, or about implementation projects using the products.
Questions floated between "on a scale of 1--5, how would you rate yourself as an expert in..." and one question about directory affinity and another about read-only replicas.
After you pass the IQ test, you'll need to defeat at least two more interviewees. While I was extended a job offer, I went in a different direction for better or for worse. In my interactions as a customer, applicant, and peer, Ping Identity seems like a great place to work and makes an effort to choose the right people. The IQ test caused me the most angst, but ultimately wasn't too bad, and I can appreciate it as an effective candidate filter. If they're still doing it, it's called the CCAT. Though your intelligence is inherent, the format may be foreign to you, which is why I suggest practicing until you feel comfortable. I believe you can take it on demand within a given period of time during the interview process. Visualize Ping Identity's mascot, Terry Crews, as your hype man, and you can get through anything they throw at you.
