The interview process consist of a chat with the team, where we talked about my experience and technical stuff. Then a pairing interview where you code and they see you solve problems and final a systems design interview.

I usually don’t write reviews, but the reason why I applied here is because of how the company is bragging about their positive reviews here, so I thought I might as well share a different narrative. There were 5 rounds of interviews, a 30 min screening with TA, a 60 min technical interview mostly with straight forward technical questions, a 2 hour live coding round, a 90 min system design interview and finally a 30 min team culture interview. The whole process was quite smooth, except for the system design one as it was a complete mess, interviewer didn’t even know that the interview was scheduled for 90 min and thought they were just 60 min, kept rushing and interrupting the answers, asking questions with very unclear English to me, and it felt like they were trying to guide me to the “correct” answers in their opinion. Of course the system design was were I scored the least and it was used to bargain against my salary expectations. I received an offer with less compensation than what I have asked for, and there were a lot of back and forth with promises that what I was asking for is totally within the budget and that they want to make it happen, but then the whole thing got passed to another TA who insisted that this is their final offer.
