- Apply online, get a call from HR screener
- Talk to Hiring Manager for 45 minutes, told I will talk to THREE people via Zoom
- Get an email from HR screener right next day that going with other candidates
- Get a corrected email saying I will have a 45 minuter with ONE person
- Get a booking email for 30 minutes, confirm the schedule
- 30-minuter comes but no one calls, turns out there was a Zoom link that I've never ended up getting. The person still called me via phone and sounded not surprised by lack of HR confirming the interview process. We figure it out.
- Still get an email that they will go with another candidate.
Honestly, whatever bad HR stuff that was mentioned here the last year, it's still there.
They are losing many capable candidates because they can't keep up.
Probably one of the most insulting experiences I've ever had and that last 45-minuter that became a 30-minuter, was just a pity call it felt like. I still went through with it given the age of the organization.
I wish I would have gotten a phone call instead of one-line emails for their "internal miscommunication(s)".
