Got a call from HR after two weeks of application, and a technical interview was scheduled straight away after two days. Took a leave to prepare for the interview considering the opportunity to work with a pharma giant like Novartis. To my surprise, the interviewer was inexperienced, less qualified, unprepared and lacked subject matter expertise. Interviewer asked STAR based questions and got confused with the answers due to lack of medical and scientific expertise. At times, it got really embarrassing for the interviewer. Novartis should ensure that qualified and experienced people with proven track record in the company should be conducting the technical interviews.

Hi I applied through employee referral in November 2024. The first round of interview was on 3rd December on zoom. The questions were mainly behavioural and few were of the role. The interviewer was highly professional. The second round was on 20th December and comprised of a case study. The interviewers discussed the case study and asked questions related to that. They made me comfortable so that they could bring out best of me. overall the interview process is really smooth but you have to have patience for the results

It was ok, great environment. Two men interviewed, from different areas. Technical questions as ability with stats and clinical trial previous experience. However, the interviewers were open and did their maximum to alleviates the tension.

Which stats methodology was used to follow tendencies in your previous experience in Clinical trials?
The overall interview session was good and interactive. A very well-organized way of conducting an interview and making the candidate comfortable to sit before the actual crucial part of the interview.
