Started with my self introduction, then shared more about my experiences, and he brings up (not even his own) but rather his acquaintances’ experiences which he believed was similar to mine. He then tried to draw parallels, insinuating that the difference in outcomes (between me and his acquaintances) were because I was not hard working and proactive enough. I felt uncomfortable that my experiences were judged based on someone else’s. Really unprofessional of him to do that. He was also beating around the bush with the questions. He asked a very generic question and said that my answers to that were performative, boring and typical, and wanted to hear something different. Towards the end of the interview, he revealed what sort of answers he was looking for. Turns out, they were *surprise* just as boring and typical. And honestly, they would have been answers I could give if he was more specific with his questions. Very unpleasant experience.

The people I talked with were very nice. The interview was moderately difficult, I knew most things. I say that because during my second interview was very technical, were the first one was just saying hi.

Just a normal process. they email u n u go. they just ask surface level questions about your experience. a key question is how u approach problems. make sure to tell them your willingness to work shifts, comfort with lifting things, and ability to work under pressure.

The interview started 30 minutes later than scheduled, which already gave a bad first impression. To my suprise, the interview was conducted in a group setting with multiple candidates and only one interviewer, where each person took turns answering questions. This format made it difficult for quieter candidates to stand out, while more outspoken individuals could dominate the session. If there were many applicants, it would have been more efficient to filter candidates earlier rather than organizing a shared interview. I would have preferred not being shortlisted at all over attending an interview that felt like waste of my time.
Note: The interview was conducted in Malaysia, while the interviewers were from Taiwan.
