I had a great first interview with the recruiter. He said I checked all the boxes and was sending me on to be evaluated by the CMO. He said he would update me in two days. Then nothing. A week passes and I followed up. Nothing. Three weeks later I get an automated rejection email from someone else. Horrible experience. Recruiters, you need to stop treating candidates like garbage. Don’t tell a candidate they’re a great fit and you’re excited to move them forward; don’t tell a candidate you will talk to them and then never speak to them again. You are the face of MeridianLink and a reflection of the company.
