It was a pleasant interview, with three individuals. Each took turns asking various questions about my experience and skills. The interviewers were very professional and very friendly.
After the interview, I was given a tour of the facility. It's a fantastic edifice with a very apparent colonial feel to it, as it has busts of various Founding Fathers, ornate woodwork and designs, etc.
If I would have been offered a position, I would have declined, as I already had accepted a different position. My disappointment, however, is that after the interview and tour, I heard nothing at all. No phone call, no email, no message or any communication indicating that someone else had been selected. In my opinion, that is unprofessional and surprisingly unbecoming of a facility and organization that is so well organized.
