Over the course of the month this entailed email correspondence and setting up skype video calls which they were very timely and pleasant. Three separate skype sessions with progressively senior members of the team and a final conversation with HR before the contract was drawn up. A week later, seemingly out of the blue, an email "Thank you, very impressive qualifications... blah blah... we selected another candidate". Rejection is obviously a possible outcome, this was extremely confusing because every other part of the process indicated I was getting an offer, but more so that the same exact job/location/details was re-posted the day of the rejection email. There is a distinct lack of transparency during the process. When asked about salary HR just commented "under 100k".
