My initial conversation started only from a brief phone call. The interview process was at the very end and there was simply no guarantee or even a fair chance that I would get the job. But I prepared a lot and really had a discussion and was just being myself rather than pretending to be someone else. Turns out that I won the interviewer over, who is my current boss, and I am happily employed till today. :)
