Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en KPFF (San Francisco, CA) en mar 2018
Entrevista
The interview process involved a paper based structural engineering analysis and design test followed by actual group/panel interview . The whole experience was negative. Initially they do not have the positions available as advertised on their website. They use the interview to gauge talent in the market for future positions. Reviewing resume is good and definitely appreciated, but they got stuck on the resume, more specifically on the courses I took when i was doing my bachelors which no way represents my 4 year work experience. The Interview was 3 hours long out of which 2 hours was used to crack inside jokes. Felt truly unprofessional. Also, they want you to wait months before they can get you an answer. I've decided to never work for a company like KPFF.

What do you remember from the concrete course you took during you bachelors?
They made me meet them in a cafe downtown. I didn't go into the office. They were underprepared. If you're going to make me come downtown, at least let me see the office. They were off-putting from the start.
The process was simple and very personable, I felt very comfortable from the start. The technical questions were smartly positioned to engage in conversation. They are a friendly, courteous and professional group. The interviewer was very knowledgeable about the local construction industry.
The interview questions were easy but the interviewer seemed a bit rude and overall bored with the process. The office also seemed empty and had a very lonely atmosphere. Overall, didn't seem like a nice or healthy place work.
