I got an email from the manager R at the Eaton Centre asking my availability and to come in. So I go in on the day of and he didn’t schedule me in and wanted me to wait 5 whole hours for a potential interview. I travelled from a different city just to go there so I was not happy and I wasn’t going to stay 5 hours at that mall for a sorry but you didn’t get the job. When I told him I couldn’t stay til 5 his response was this “I will email you for another time, if I don’t then.... (shrugs shoulders)”. Yea ok. Everyone looked like bums in the store and I was like wow I thought you needed to dress somewhat appropriate. Anyways what a waste of a day but at least I’m not working under someone who doesn’t respect me or my time.

Easy, phone call then in-person. You basically just answer personality questions and give basic experience to show you can interact with customers professionally. Then, they will detail what you can expect in terms of pay and work schedule.

I was asked questions about my retail experience and style preferences. Overall it felt pretty casual and I was told on the spot that I would get the job. It was my first retail job (previously worked in food service/was finishing school).

The interview process was very straightforward. The questions were primarily focused around customer service and sales. The interview process was very straightforward. The questions were primarily focused around customer service and sales.
