I had my first interview with HR a couple days after I had applied. My first interview was an HR screen gauging my interest in the role and the company. After that, I had another call with the hiring manager for this position again gauging my interest in the role and felt more like a conversation.
A couple weeks later, I was invited back for a half-day virtual panel interview with five employees at varying levels from different teams that I would be working with in the role. I was a bit intimidated at first that I was meeting with people at the Vice President and Senior Vice President levels but once I had the conversations, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. These interviews were pretty standard behavioral and experiential questions.
Invenergy used Microsoft Teams for the interview process and it was clear and all transitions between interviews were pretty seamless. Following the interview, the recruiter was very communicative of Invenergy's interest, and would call me periodically to check in on me and if I was still interested. I ended up receiving an offer three weeks after the last interview and about a week and half after the recruiter signaling Invenergy's interest. I accepted the offer.
Overall, the interview process was smooth but a little long. I was grateful to have the same recruiter throughout the process and the lines of communication were definitely open through the whole process, something that cannot be said at all companies.
