The HR sent an email initially to provide my available time slots, which I did.
He then sent an invite quite promptly.
I'm an looking for visa sponsorship and that was clearly mentioned in my application.
He missed it and approached me for an interview. I spent two days learning about the company, what they do, what my role would be and got ready to give my best.
He joins the call and then asks if I have the Right to work, which I don't. So he said they can't provide the visa sponsorship and the call was disconnected. For a two minute verification, which could have easily done via email, he raised hopes in me and have made me invest in something that wouldn't help me at all.
I felt disappointed and felt extremely bad for losing all my valuable time.
Wonder how he is a HR, he is supposed to be empathetic at the minimum to be a people's person.

O processo foi muito bom, transparente, organizado e todo mundo foi extremamente educado. A Intelex parece ser uma ótima empresa para se trabalhar e a oportunidade era remota e o inglês é obrigatório também.

*Guess I dodged a bullet*
Had 2 interviews. First one is screening and the second one is meeting with team member and managers. Spent multiple days to prepare (physically & emotionally) for the presentation and the task that is gonna be done during the interview. Was told there will be feedback within 1 to 2 weeks.
GHOSTED! Absolutely nothing even I have sent out follow up emails.
Is it really that hard to send a status update email to candidates? Especially YOU are the one who made the promise!? Can’t imagine how they treat their clients when they can’t even keep a single promise:)
