Started with hour long phone interview, followed up with an in-person interview with the hiring manager. The third step was an all-day interview with a revolving door or employees to assess my candidacy. Up to this point, the interview process was progressing fairly "normally" - good questions, but nothing too difficult. The hiring manager told me he was interested in hiring me at the end of the day, but needed to check with the interview committee. I was asked to attend a Product meeting to discover that in a room of 25, I was the only woman. The following week I was asked to prepare a "training document" and an additional lunch was scheduled. The tone of the hiring manager changed significantly. Rather than just letting me know I wasn't a good fit, we proceeded through a bunch of time wasting hoops. This is a typical "old technology" company - all men. No wonder the company growth has been stagnate.
