Initially you will be messaged a calendar invite to set up your screening interview with a Homebase recruiter. The interview was very relaxed and conversational. At no time did I feel nervous or under pressure. Alex, the conductor of the interview, let me know that he was going to act as my company advocate during the entire interview process. Things such as salary expectations and even heavy culture-related questions would stay between him and me. I was told I would know the outcome if a few days. The interview was on a Thursday and I received the result on Monday. Unfortunately, I did not move on in the interview process, but Alex in Talent Acquisition was very kind in his wording and made it a "personal rejection" (if that's even a thing). He took the time to explain the reasoning for the rejection and made a ton of sense. I had to agree that my experience did not directly line up with what the desires for the role would be.
