Interview process was quite long and intensive. A call with the VP of Operations, then with a PM, then with an HR coordinator, then with the CPO acting as interim CPO, then a negotiation call with the HR coordinator again, then a call with the CEO, then a call with HR coordinator to tell me I'm out.
The only Product Management orientated call was with the peer-PM. The call with the interim CPO was very technical.
The call with the CEO was uncomfortable. I was informed beforehand that there was no prep needed, this was a casual 'get to know you' sort of call. No it wasn't. It was an aggressive grilling of my background with no real focus to it, and lots of amateurish 'gotcha' questions.
