The interview process can vary from team to team for which you have applied. HSBC definitely gives priority to the technical knowledge on top of good communication etc. My first round of interview was very much technical and the second was more about explaining the CV. HR questions were very simple and according to me it had hardly any weightage on the interview. I only had two rounds of telephonic interview but some might need to face video conferencing interview even after this.
