Entrevista
Did an initial phone screen for an IT Project Manager position - the screen went very well and was informative. The interviewer was engaged on the phone and wanted to talk up the good of the company - She asked my current salary which I was happy to give.
The next week, I went in for 1:1 and Panel Interviews again went well. The last interview was with the group manager - She told me that things were looking very good so far and wanted to talk salary. When I told her my present salary, she was surprised and stated that their budgeted salaray was nearly $30K less. I wasn't sure if she weas negotiating or not, asked a few more questions, and then realized she was serious. I explained that I was up front about my salary needs and that the person who gave me the ohone interview said that I was in-line with what they were looking for. I then told them to please not waste the time of other professionals in the future.
General impression - not so good...
