I was completely ghosted after my final interview. They gave me health insurance details, discussed salary, and even mentioned a potential start date. I met with multiple leaders, mapped out staff needs, and was already planning travel for the role. Then—nothing. For two months, they ignored my follow-ups and emails, offering no explanation.
This wasn’t just a slow process—it was a drawn-out mess. It took them three months just to contact me after I applied, then another month to schedule the panel interview. After my final interview? Silence for two more months. Then, after six months of waiting and wasted effort, I got a generic rejection email. I wasn’t even mad—just insulted. They treated me like an afterthought.
