Good interview, the interviewer was very nice and helpful. The questions were basic and general, nothing technical or out of the blue. She answered all my questions at the end. Long wait though after the interview.

Applied online in February, didn't hear until April for the first round of interviews. The start-up company cites the lengthy process is due to 1,000s of applications. Applied to schedule an interview through an online forum sent to second round candidates, which then an editor was to reach out following that. After a week I never heard, reached out to the person who had sent me the link, another week passed. Two weeks after I reached out I received an invitation to schedule a phone interview. The employee interviewing had to get up to complete a task for her manager in the middle of the phone interview, so I was placed on hold. The employee interviewing said I would hear in a week or two weeks if I had been offered the position. Never heard back. Overall there was a general lack of professionalism from the company, and I wasn't interested in reaching out again. General journalism type interview questions.
