Scenario:

DevOps angle:
CI/CD with Jenkins, Docker basics, Kubernetes clusters.
Feedback: Wanted more depth on Terraform modules but overall positive.
Round 3 – Technical Interview 2 (75 mins)
Interviewer: Senior Architect
System Design Case:
“Design a scalable e-commerce platform on cloud (AWS/Azure), considering 1M daily users.”
Discussed load balancing, auto scaling, RDS vs DynamoDB, caching strategies (Redis/ElastiCache).
Cost Optimization:
Spot instances vs Reserved vs On-demand trade-offs.
Security & Compliance:
“How would you ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance in cloud deployments?”
Behavioral Add-ons:
“Describe a time you had a conflict in a client project and how you resolved it.”
Round 4 – Managerial/Behavioral (45 mins)
Discussion with project manager.
Focus on client-facing skills: how to handle scope creep, explain cloud benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
Asked situational:
“If a deployment fails during client demo, how would you manage?”
Some STAR-based HRQs: Strengths, weaknesses, 5-year goals.
Round 5 – HR & Offer Discussion (30 mins)
HR explained role, travel requirements, and performance review structure.
Salary discussion (slightly negotiable, Deloitte gives band ranges).
Background check initiated before offer.
