The interview process was pretty smooth. I didn’t have to wait long to get any sort of response or next step instructions. However, I did 5 rounds of interviews and 3 tests. It surprisingly didn’t take 5-8 weeks I think the whole process was 3 weeks for me. I made it to the last round of interviews and they decided to go with the other candidate. Instead of getting an email to let me know they weren’t hiring me I got a phone call and that was really refreshing. They didn’t have any feedback to provide as to why they chose the other candidate, only that they wanted to hire someone that was already local (which I totally understand), but I had communicated to them the exact date that I could start and they didn’t want to wait 1 week. I was in the process of moving back to the city where this job was located and just needed 1 week.
