Dish interview process has three phases. The first phase is a phone screen with a recruiter, and a test to review your reading and math skills. The second phase, if selected is another phone screen with the hiring manager that lasts about 30 minutes. For the final phase a three hour in person interview at the corporate headquarters... One of the biggest red flags is Dish requires employees to be badged in before 9AM or you will be put on a list that is reviewed by leadership. Avoid this company.

I had a 30 minute interview with a recruiter. It was very straight to the point. There was little small talk. The recruiter told me about the role and responsibilities and asked me what skills I had that met the job description.

The hiring process is lengthy. My first contact with the company was with a talent acquisition specialist. The second step was an online test divided into 3 sections, Math, English and Internet Savvy. English is not my first language but because my mom has a master's degree in English, I am pretty fluent. However, the antonyms and synonyms used in the English section were not common words. I am not sure what they were trying to measure by those questions. I was pretty sure I would have failed the test since I ran out of time. Apparently I passed and went on to the next stage. An onsite test (Wonderlich and Watson Glasser) and in-person panel interview. The research I did on Wonderlich suggested to go through the easy questions first since there are 12 minutes for 50 questions. That equates to 14 seconds per question. Needless to say, I did not finish the test. Again, I was left wondering if the intent was speed over accuracy. That part was never explained. I believe my panel interview went well.
