Applied through a school posting. Got a call and a brief phone interview. Basically sounded like they wanted to make sure you were in the ballpark in terms of salary expectations, etc. Was then given some online assessments to do at home. Got another call and asked to come in. The first round was at their Denver area HQ. Started off by taking a couple more assessments and filled out forms for a background check. Met with a couple of people for one on one interviews. One thing that stuck out to me was how rigid everyone was at their desk. Environment at that office was very tense. Also, the people I met with didn't seem at all enthusiastic about meeting there. Got a call a couple of days later asking me to come back in. Already pretty sure I wouldn't want to work there but went anyway. Really wished I didn't. Met with the Vice President in charge of the group I'd be working with. He told me that 50% of the people he hires end up leaving in 6 months and seemed to be proud of that fact. Took all my self-control to point out that it costs money to hire them and he's essentially wasting it. Was supposed to meet with two other people but both of them went to a meeting even though ours was scheduled for two weeks. Was asked to wait for an hour for them but declined to do so.
