I applied on AngelList and was contacted within 24 hours by one of the co-founders. Within that same week, we had a first round video interview. Tatyana was really informative about the mission and vision of the company which was really inspiring. Our conversation made me realize how few social impact startups exist in Boston that have a great purpose for profit. After that, I interviewed on site in their office with both co-founders and the Head of Operations. Before the final interview, they asked me to prepare a presentation on how I'd 5x their growth on the nanny recruiting side. We went over that briefly but mostly focused on very specific behavioral interview questions about my previous recruiting roles and associated metrics. Although the panel interview was kind of intimidating, I ultimately got the job offer. The CEO and Head of Ops also took my partner and me out to brunch the following day. Seeing them outside of the interview setting was really important for me in my decision-making process. It let me see that these were folks that I'd enjoy working and socializing with. Very happy with my decision to come on board :)!
