Normal flow: HR call, then tech screening, then 4 panel. Had some extra ones afterwards so I could talk to the EM more and ask them more questions about the team. The HR person Lee was very responsive and helped prepare me for the panel interview. The panel was spread over a few days so it was easier to fit into my schedule, as I'm working full time during the interview. The coding questions felt reasonable for an interview and the engineers were very easy to talk to during the time.

distribute students to tables in a classroom and minimize the standard deviation of a property of the students. I didn't initially get the optimal answer, but by collaborating with the interview person he guided me to the solution and I coded it.
A recruiter reached out, we agreed that I aligned very well with the hiring team. They didn't mention the job title or the salary, which was odd and violates California law. I decided to overlook it because the recruiter was nice and helpful. They sent over an online assessment which I did and passed 100% of the test cases. Then about 20 minutes after submitting they sent over a refusal with no feedback other than the typical "we will not move forward". Quite strange and a waste of time.
Their job post does not provide salary information as required by law, and they refuse to discuss it during the interview. Sounds like a company that wants to pay as little as possible.
