      Entrevista

Very mismanaged from the beginning such as what another interviewer wrote. After the first in person interview, The sales manager told me I had successfully moved on to the next round which was the half day out in the field and he just had to check his reps availability. I followed up 3 times before I got a call saying to come in. I kept following up due to the advice from my recruiter. Once I came in again, I was advised that plans changed and I was to sit in on a phone block for 2 hours. Well..2 hours became 4 1/2. The employees were doing other things a lot of the time and I just decided to cold call and set appointments for the last 2 hours. Finally after a long day, I met with the GM. I was so tired and starving by that time. I clearly have enough experience but because I had left another company he had previously worked for due to different circumstances, I felt like I was being thrown under the bus. The questions were standard STAR questions but I tried to be creative with my answers. He wasn't feeling it. I continuously attempted to get an answer about moving on to the next round but everything he said was vague, "I need to speak with my manager and call you" no- you don't. You are suppose to tell me to come in for the ride along like this company planned for me 3 weeks ago. At the end of the day, this company seems like they have an extremely lengthy and unnecessary interview process. Again, the interview process from the start was a complete mess. I'm sure Cintas passes up a lot of amazing, overly qualified candidates who could help their team excel because management finds some ridiculous reason not to hire them.. I am a positive, well educated, and driven sales professional and I left this interview feeling like my confidence had been run over a million times.

I've had multiple interviews with Cintas for multiple different positions. I've been ghosted every time. Every week I have a new recruiter reaching out about the same positions I have already spoken with folks about. Cintas, please make up your mind.

3 to 4 round interview including a ride along with their top performing rep Basic sales questions, if you’ve done sales - it’s not a difficult interview process if you have exp in sales. That experience makes it easier to build a basic talk track around quota, outbound etc. The ride along was interesting as you went out in the field with a rep and got to see a day in the life which involves cold dropping in on offices in person and following up on calls. Seems a bit chaotic and arbitrary as the rep I was with dropped in on a current customer and she didn’t know. They cold call some days and are out in the field other days. Not sure why they couldn’t do these drop ins over the phone or profess the sales cycle on a zoom call but that’s the way they do things. They claim they will pay you for the ride along but I was never sent a check. I even gave them an updated address and was never followed up with. I was given positive feedback with everyone I spoke to: managers, VP level ppl, recruiter. But when I had the ride along, that’s when I was rejected for the role. So you can do well throughout the interview process but if the rep doesn’t like you or recommend you then you won’t get the job which seems odd bc even with the right background, the rep will dictate if you get the job or not based on whatever they deem appropriate. Another thing to note is that the top rep had been in her role for 4 years without a promotion. They claim upward mobility but someone who has consistently exceeded her quota has been stuck in her role for years. Something to think about. Easy process but random rejection with no explanation and didn’t get paid for the ride along.

The lower level managers are so so kind, however the higher you go in the interview process, you may come across a few managers who are incredibly condescending and the interview somewhat feels like a bullying session. I thought it was rich, considering the amount of turnover in this company and how many people hate working there. they should not be scaring away applicants by behaving this way in an interview. I understand there is a need to feel like you are earning the job and the position is in demand. however, this is a whole other level.
