Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Athleta (Petaluma, CA) en mar 2010

      Entrevista

One 1:1 interview (after phone interview)within a weeks time. People & work environment seemed casual & down-to-earth within their cubicle and dog-friendly work space. Well-lighted & large windows over look a green space out in the back of the office building. High volume of applicants. The Recruiter mentioned selecting the final group was hard to pick-out. The manner of the 1:1 interview had not given me any indication that I would not be selected. Recruiter said to keep an eye out on future openings and encouraged me to reapply. Advice to potential candidates: Do the best you can at answering the interviewer's questions. But, don't be surprised during this Recession/Recovery that it is hard to get an offer. I believe employers are using salary requirements or history as a reason not to hire experience workers. To Finding Out What The Going Wage & Salary Market Rate Is: Go to Bureau of Labor Statistic (Website) Click on Databases & Tables Menu Tab at top of webpage. Scroll-Down to Pay & benefits. Till you come to "Employment and Wages from Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) survey". Click on Multi-Screen Data Search. NOTE: Click Continue on each webpage to go to next choice screen. Please select a search type: One occupations for multiple geographical area . Please select one or more occupations: Scroll-Down & Select: Customer Service Representatives 434051 Please select a geographic type: Metropolitan or Nonmetropolitan Area. Please select one metropolitan area: Scroll-Down & Select: Santa Rosa-Petaluma, CA Please select a release date: May 2008 Please select one or more datatypes (for printer-friendly HTML output, select a maximum of eight datatypes at a time): Hourly Wage Mean Please select an output type: HTML $17.15 (Hourly Mean wage) The Recruiter noted a minimal starting wage (hourly). Under Market Rate. The BLS is a good source of info. Being informed of what the job market rate is and employer should consider it too, especially people with experience & education.
