I had two interviews, one that was through a webcam and the other over skype. They seemed fair and interested in what I am doing. I did not receive a job offer but I think it was an overall positive experience.

I applied online and the initial interview was recorded video questions. A recording of an employee read the question to you, you had a minute to plan a response and then a minute - 2 minutes. There were about 5-4 mostly behavioral questions. The next step was an actual Skype interview with an AlphaSights employee. The guy was really young and nice which made the interview very comfortable.

There was an unexpected question about supply chain management and how this can apply to expert research consulting firms. I was uneasy in my answer and he kind of had to walk me through it. It was very basic stuff like just the order of supply chains and I knew it I just really was not expecting the question.

If they like your application you will get an email telling you to do an online question and answer for them. It takes about ten minutes but you only have thirty seconds to prepare an answer after the question is asked. You may be asked to an online interview after that step which is the last step of the process.
