Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Acumen (Burlingame, CA) en jun 2016
Entrevista
I applied after talking to one of the representatives in a career fair. About a month later, I was assigned an exercise containing a small dataset. After sending back the exercise, I was invited to a phone interview 2-3 weeks later. The interview was mainly about the exercise. Be prepare to talk through every step that you have done. 3 weeks later, I was invited to a on-site interview. I was required to fly to the headquarter with $200 reuimbursement. It only covered half of my travel cost though. The interview started with a math and logic test which I felt like I was well-prepared. After the test, I talked to 3 individuals separately. All of them were mainly based on my previous experience. I was invited to the final round phone interview 3 weeks later. It was relatively short and was like the on-site interview. The entire interview was pretty technical but not hard.
Phone Screen Interview
The first round was a phone screening conducted by a recruiter. This conversation focused on my background, relevant experience, and understanding of the role. In-Person Interview
The second round was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and potentially a team member. This round went deeper into my technical expertise and practical experience. I was asked to walk through specific projects, explain my decision-making process, and demonstrate how I approach real-world challenges.
