There were three sets of interviews and a homework assignment throughout this interview process. The first phone call was with a Talent Acquisition Manager, where they asked about my experience. The next step in the process was a homework assignment involving tasks related to the position. The second interview was a video conference call where I spoke with two employees about my experience. During this interview, they asked situational and behavioral questions. After this interview, I was asked to submit 2-3 references and schedule a time to meet up with a local employee. This final step didn't feel like an interview per se, the employee made it extremely comfortable and we got to know one another. I had the opportunity to ask all of the questions I had about the company and her experiences. Although the interview process was long and thorough, you can tell that the company wants to hire employees that fit their culture. I was extremely comfortable throughout the whole interview process. Not one question went unanswered and they did a great job keeping me informed on what the next steps were.

Five interview stages for a role requiring only 1–2 years of experience feels excessive. A 30-minute interview, a task, a 45-minute interview, creating a presentation, and then presenting it with questions seems unnecessarily long for such a position.
