I applied online through my college career website, then was contacted for an interview. There is a mandatory pre-interview dinner, where the representatives give a presentation and meet with the candidates. Have questions ready -- the pre-interview night is just as important as the interview.
The next day was a 20-25 minute interview, which was pretty informal and the questions relatively straight-forward. This is a management position, so I believe a lot of weight is placed on personality.
The second round interviews consisted of a tour of the warehouse, 2 (or 3) 25 minute interviews, depending on if you interviewed one of the candidates at your school. My first interview was extremely informal, where we discussed almost solely more personal topics and my upbringing. My interviewer also opened up about her own life, which was comforting and made the interview fun. The second interview was a lot more typical, and consisted of half an hour of straight questions. We then broke for lunch, which was yet another opportunity to talk to the employees.
After lunch was a two-part test: the first was a multiple choice aptitude test, which is mostly tricky if you second-guess your answers. The second was an essay, which is nothing to worry about.

First round interview was s video interview with each question having a prerecorded question, then 30 seconds of prep time to answer the question with about 2 minutes of time. You sit at a device of your choosing and stare at yourself the entire time.
Communications started with 3rd party recruiter. Behavioral interview, asked about experience, leadership, communication abilities, weaknesses you have. Moved on to next round. In-person interview following this with Aldi executive. Similar format to initial interview, mainly behavioral, noticed a complete lack of organization.
Every question in 2nd round was a follow-up to the previous question. Having interviewed for many roles across many industries over the years, this interview was an interrogation, not a conversation. Experience led me to believe that Aldi, or this specific interviewer, struggles to see candidates for the District Manager role beyond 'assets'. Makes you wonder if corporate Aldi has a similar effect on other peoples souls. See for yourself!
